mobile app software


A mobile app software  is a computer program designed to run on smartphones, tablet computers and other small wireless computing devices. These applications can be pre-installed on phones during manufacturing, downloaded by customers from various mobile software distribution platforms , or transformed as web applications using server-side or client-side processing (e.g. JavaScript) to provide an "application-like" experience within a Web browser.

App simply means application software and they are produced according to demands and constraint of the device in which they are meant to work.
Therefore mobile app are applications specifically designed to work on the mobile interface.
As of the time of writing this article google owns 50% of the top mobile apps used in the U.S according to wikipedia.

Today their are numerous platform for application development  for different mobile operating system,however some platform supports development of application which can work with several mobile OS while some don't.
To develop a mobile application software there must be a specialized IDE(integrated development environment ).The apps are first tested within this environment with the help of an emulator and later opened to public testing.

Distribution of mobile application are done by displaying them on various manufacturers platform some of which include google play for android apps,windows store for windows app(which may include apps for laptops and desktops computer),samsung apps store for displaying apps for various Operating systems and so on.
Technology is fast moving to handheld devices hence the need to own a mobile device.
